JOIN The 912 Patriots HERE

Hi and welcome to The 912 Patriots. One of many tools which our founders gave us was the right to publicly gather for protest and the freedom of speech. But the most important is the democratic voting system in our local Governments. This is where we can make a huge difference.

Many people are very active with other things and that's great. We are asking for people to get involved in any way possible. Whether it be through e-mails, attending a rally or stepping out of their comfort zones and getting involved with the political process. Keep track of our events.

We have thrown around the idea of a third party but the State Wide Leaders have decided against it in Illinois. It is not practical or appear to be feasible. We have looked at all the possibilities and came to the conclusion we must take the simplest and most direct approach in getting the right people into positions where they can make a real difference.

We are planning to take over and create a new Republican Party here and rid ourselves of the existing trash cluttering up the system. We are non-partisan but we have to take the most direct route in fixing the problem and making a difference and the Republican Party in Illinois is weak.

We will be planning a meeting soon and having an informed guest to inform us on how to do this. Lake County has 481 Precincts it looks like. McHenry County has around 213. We can Do this! Check Box Net on main page for Applications for Precinct Committeemen.

There are 3,141 counties and county equivalents in the 50 States and the District of Columbia. From all of these we plan on helping to elect well informed and patriotic people. You do not have to be a college graduate or a professional. Many of the positions in local politics have vacancies because people don't run to fill them. One of these positions is Precinct Committeemen.

On Tuesday, August 4th candidates can begin circulating petitions for the Primary Election on February 2, 2010. We need to start moving on this now! Petitions can be gathered from that day through November 2nd of this year. That's the last day to file petitions. Leaders are needed from top to bottom in Illinois - but today we're focusing on the office of Precinct Committeeman.

There are more of these posts than any other in Illinois - by far. It's also the smallest and simplest race to run. It's a volunteer office with a two-year term. Every county other than Cook elects Precinct Committeemen. (Cook County has a unique structure that we'll talk about in the coming days. New blood is seriously needed there too as everyone knows.) Literally thousands of Precinct Committeeman offices are vacant around the state.
